Alison Tinsley, Founder, Principal and Life Coach - the original Lavish Lady

How it all began…

I suppose you could say I was the original ‘desperate housewife’!  There were those who said I had it all, a Prince Charming, a fabulous home, amazing children and a great career.  So how did I end up broken, alone and with very little money? A very good question indeed, and one that is answered in my first book, ‘Confessions of an unfaithful heart’ (published Summer 2008).

Facing an uncertain future, I decided to pick up the shattered fragments of my life and, piece by piece, rebuild my identity. Eventually I gained the insight and strength to assert ‘Come what may, I choose to have a fabulous life’. And do you know what, that’s exactly what I have done!  Older and wiser, but still with a desire to have a ‘happy ever after’ ending, I resolved to assist others in their quest for a lifetime of fulfilment, happiness and, yes, fun.  My desire for you is that you too may come to know your true worth and live the life you deserve.

The story so far…

Born out of her own difficult life experiences and lessons learned from them, Alison trained as a Life Coach and later as an Image Stylist. Her desire was to assist other women in becoming the fabulous creatures they were designed to be.  Helping others to live life to the full with fun and purpose, as a result of heightened self-esteem, raised confidence and proven coaching techniques, became her passion. After all a poor self- image can, at best, lead to a life lived below its potential; at worst, cause a life of utter misery.  Let’s face it, who wants a life like that?

The visit by Lucy Benyon, a journalist from the Daily Express in the summer of 2005 resulted in a double page article in the Daily Express.  February 2006, saw the Lavish Ladies Club make a special appearance on the BBC website. Why not visit us on:
